Nueces Mosque is excited to welcome Anwer Imam as the Imam – Director of Religious Affairs!
Neighboring the University of Texas at Austin, and positioned a walk away from downtown Austin, Nueces Mosque has and continues to serve as a “home away from home” for generations of students and professionals. Imam Anwer’s addition to Nueces Mosque will allow for our dynamic community to continue advancing educationally, elevate spiritually, and strengthen our individual and communal relationship with Allah (swt).
Coming from different walks of life, Nueces Mosque is a culmination of a plethora of languages, ethnicities, perspectives, and experiences. With such a rich and diverse community, we strive to create an inclusive atmosphere that acknowledges everyone’s journey towards gaining the love of Allah (swt).
Everyone who experiences Nueces Mosque yearns to come back and feel its richness. At first glance, it may not seem like much, but the energy generated by the community is unmatched.
Be it through the halaqas, classes, intensives, mentorship, support groups, and more, we are continuously developing programming and activities to help provide the clarity Muslims need to navigate the unique challenges of our society. It is our Culture that ultimately allows us to develop such a unique bond as a community, enhancing that clarity even further.
