Nueces Mosque

1906 Nueces St

Asalamualaikum!! We’re starting Sisters’ Circle with Sister Hareem back up this semester with a lot of exciting topics in store! Be sure to bring your friends out to our first session next Wednesday, February 14th for an engaging discussion and treats! The topic is a “Spiritual Reset”; be sure to keep an eye out for more details and a special surprise we have for ya’ll! The event will start after maghrib salah (around 6:15 PM) and will end 10 minutes before Isha, iA.

Discussions will be led by the knowledgeable Sister Hareem, who previously taught Nueces’ “Seerah of the Prophet” class. Ustadhah Hareem Ahmad is a graduate from both Qalam Institute and Bayyinah in Dallas, Texas. She has a degree in Management Science from MIT. After completing her undergrad, she worked in finance for a few years while simultaneously training and competing nationally and internationally in fencing. After retiring from competition in 2013, she pursued Islamic education, first with a year at the Bayyinah Dream program (Arabic), and then spent a year at the Qalam Seminary with Sheikh Abdul Nasir Jangda.
