The Sisters Activity Center (SAC) at Nueces Mosque provides social and spiritual resources for the sisters in the Austin community. After undergoing an extensive five month renovation including structural redesign, landscaping, and interior decor, the new SAC kicked-off with a welcome barbeque in May 2008.

Fully furnished, the SAC is a comfortable retreat where sisters can hold get-togethers, weekly halaqas, talk, study, or just relax while being close to the house of Allah (SWT). Currently the SAC offers numerous amenities including a wudu area, study area, WI-FI connection, two desktop computers with printing, a couch, and an upstairs loft to study or to take a nap.

All sisters are welcomed to use the facilities and feel at home, while still being in a safe, Islamic environment.
